Spinach Salad

 

 

BENEFITS:

Good for calming down the extra heat of the chest energy. It is grounding with earth energy.

Serving size: small bowl

Serves 3 people

 

Ingredients:

  • 6 cups water
  • 1 lb of raw spinach
  • 1 tbsp of sunflower seeds
  • 1 tbsp of black sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp pine nuts
  • 1 tbsp of sesame seed oil
  • sea salt to taste

 

Preparation

  1. Combine the sesame seed oil and the seeds and pine nuts
  2. Bring water to a boil and turn off heat
  3. Put the spinach in the water and stir the leaves for 5 seconds and take out
  4. Pour the oil and seed mixture over the spinach so it is on the leaves
  5. If you want any salt then at this point add the sea salt to your taste
  6. Put on table and enjoy!
